...again with these remakes were they just don't get how to make a game atmospheric. something is completely lost in the translation, and it absolutely doesn't need to.
the original is so gritty and cool and atmospheric, new one is clean, generic, only focus on "how can we make it look very realistic?" i can understand that some of the grit is lost because its also down to resolution and lowres textures, but there's no excuse to lose the fog or for not using the same overall tonality.

it has negative mouse acceleration and emulated the sticks while using the mouse. That loose feeling of the camera, where you move the mouse and the game takes a milisecond to respond.

isnt there a 90s filter that gives it this look
optional? idk for sure just what i read
Yeah 90s filter is optional and looks a lot like the ps2 version.
I got no intention of playing this any time soon, but after SM2 feels nice to have another win for team yarr.
By all means, ubishit and the other worthless aaa derpelopers, keep protecting team yarr from those shit ass games while we enjoy the good ones

The fog is not an issue, they didn't skip on it like the remaster did. You are making an incorrect assessment about the fog based on the picture posted above.
But the fog was used in that scene in the original as a build up for what followed. In the Remake things don't play out the same.
