What a great experience, initiated the tutorial some hours ago,having a blast, what missions or campaign do you recommend?
The true Thief feeling.
Most of the popular missions/campaigns are worth playing (Requiem, Iris, A House of Locked Secrets, Behind Closed Doors, The Painter's Wife, Volta series, William Steele etc.)
My son told me about it, as he download and plays constantly Thief Gold / Thief II fan missions.
It's absolutely amazing how - after all these years - people are still active, creative and dedicated to such a high degree in making and supporting the modding scene for Thief games.

Speaking of Thief, it is probably one of the 10 most beautiful games ever made, with an audio-graphic atmosphere and unguided gameplay, old school in short (even if in the dark mod they put the possibility of various helps which I clearly avoided right from the start) it is quite normal that it is still modded, the incredible thing would be that very young kids who didn't experience it at the time of its release were doing it
How immensely sad, however, to have to go back 20/25 years to experience the emotions of real gameplay, even after so many years I still can't understand the mainstream direction taken by video games, even though I fully understand it due to the production costs that have increased incredibly over the years,but it's really true that appearance counts in the world and not substance, that always comes second..
