Yesterday launch was a terrible mess, and this is what they deserve for launching a cloud based anticipated product on the very same time worldwide.
And by not doing a proper long beta test phase like they had 4 years ago.
Most issues are fixed now, and the game is wonderful.
Honestly I am not going back to MSFS 2020.
But jeez, I didn't know my patience was so ... big.

Ah, shit I forgot it came out. Glad I missed the first day. (First day on any online game is always worth skipping)
is it better than 2020 @Silent_Lurker? I mean better enough for $70
Democracy Dies in Dumbness.
Sure, but you will quickly find that your extremism makes us unable to agree what a mental patient is. So it is truly no point in doing so. Copy this quote as well, or shall I?

Graphics are stunning and they were already nice in MSFS 2020 but damn its so beautiful here.
Clouds, shadows (especially cockpit shadows are no longer snappy), lighting, .... are better.
Career mode is nicely done and addictive (if you like progression feeling)
Also 2024 planes are much closer to pay-ware products, even circuit breakers are simulated now.
Servers are still a bit slow yet, but MSFS 2024 have certainly a bright future.

Is it on Game Pass (Ultimate?)?
Would be my first flight simulator so I will certainly suck at it, but watching all these gameplay videos activates my passion for geography and exploration
@4treyu
Yes game pass has the standard version which is more than enough unless you are hardcore flight sim enthusiast.
Just keep in mind in this one thing I have found out:
Keyboard mouse, nearly impossible to play, like trying to play a racing simulator with them. The gamepad works fine, but a bit of learning curve with it as there is more flight controls than buttons so you need a lot of complex button combos (like left bumper+left shoulder+X for like adjusting flaps up), but doesn't 'feel' quite right and touchy. Flight stick/HOTAS works great, but that's to be expected.
PS : What the fuck is going on on imgur ?
How can one add images on an existing album ? This shit make a new album each time I upload some images ...
And the add image to album doesn't seem to exist anymore !
Edit : Ok found it, album (Post as they call them now) must be hidden to have the add image button visible.
What a bunch of morons.

Does this happen often in career mode? Pretty much the big reason why I want to pick this up. My son who's finishing his commercial aviation degree from college in two weeks said to hold off a bit as it's still pretty buggy.
I just did one 01h30 flight last night in career mode and all went pretty well though.
I am already 110h+ in this MSFS 2024 and I uninstalled that 475 GB MSFS 2020 monster
Career mode is an addictive peace of grindy shiat. Warning here, if you still want a social lifeor something.
