I never got into these action games, which is anoying as many of them look really fun to play
It was the same with me. I tried the DS series, didn't like any of those games. Tried Sekiro, didn't like it. Then I came across Nioh 2, and absolutely loved it.
For a bunch of easier (and a lot more forgiving) titles in the same vein, I recommend Ghost of Tsushima and Rise of the Ronin. The combat is super fun in them, and not too hard to learn or master, even.
