Guyz, I have chickenpox ! My legs and arms are full of red pimples with some transparent fluid inside. It's itchy as well. How could I get them at my age !? Fuck !
Doc gave me some white goo to cover the pimples. Somekinda chalky stuff.

Oh you shouldn't worry, it's probably not a chickenpox, but its older brother shingles.

I'm kidding, shit happens, public places are full of people from unvaccinated parts of the globe. You can get easily infected with whatever they have.
Me personally, I always carry with me a small bottle of sanitizer, disinfect my hands regularly when in public. Hell, I still brandish my n95 mask when in hospitals, farmacies or in public transport.
i had mine when i was like 14, left pitted scars all over my face (mostly on chin/forehead), i got really, really sick (very high fever). sucks, especially getting scars (don't care at my age now but..)

Strange, I have these itchy spots only on arms and below the waste. That's not a typical clinical picture of chickenpox or measles. Btw, I had measles when I was 12. I hope they do not spread to my face and trunk.

I had adult chickenpox about a decade ago while traveling, it was rough but you just need rest and to eat well even when you really dont feel like eating. The fever was the worst but fever is useless against viral infections so just take paracetamol to lower it and drink plenty of water.
very important for you to self isolate and not let anyone touch anything u had contact with.

Thank you for asking. Fortunately it wasn't a full blown Chickenshit. It spread on my arms and under the waste only. Some bluish marks still present but they are slowly fading away.
Chickenpox is way better to have in childhood, later in adulthood makes things much complicated. And the itch btw, it was unbearable !
