Why do you need special attacks in normal FPS when the gameplay is not about melle weapons but guns ?
The gameplay of Condemned is almost ONLY about melle weapons .
And im not just talking about side attacks , im speaking about combo or something that could make the fighting interresting .

Thats call realism...for once, youre not playing a game that have ammo crates every 10 meters. Youre stuck in a building with no guns with fuckin crackheads comming at you so you defend yourself with what you can find....on the other hand, the fact that you cant throw things is kind of dumb but if you miss...youre fucked so that might be the reason why they didnt add this attack.
This game remind me of Manhunt, if you are up against 2 guys, your chance of winning are next to none. Its nice for a change to not be a super hero like Jack Karver or any other character in FPS who can survive after getting shot by 10 bullets.
In real life, if a crackhead like that come at you with violent intention, im pretty sure you'll do the same "hit, kick, block, hit"...thats what this game is all about...survival

Im not agree at all , you could hit hes leg when hes blocking hes chest , vise versa .
You could do little short shot just to hit and you could also do a long hard shot with all your force to do more damage .

When i said "realism" i meant that if the guy hit you like 4 times with a pipe...you're gone...in your case, i would probably hit you once and you'll hit the ground pretty fast

Maybe when you start the game , you have no experrience for fitghing with meele weapons . But after killing 20 guys , i think you should start to understand you can do more than only 1 attack .
So like in real life , maybe for the first time i would fight againts someone with meele weapons i would suck a lot , but after killing 20 guys , i bet i could be a lot better at it .
If we follow your logic , all FPS with headshot would be non-relalistic because if you use a gun for the first time in your life you won't be able to hit the head .
Btw , if you where near montreal and want to play some beaseball bat with me , maybe you would beat me , but hey it would't be the first time i get beated in a fight .
