Head on Giant Bomb Cast that 2K is losing this series.
WWE 2K22 is the last contracted game with 2K so if it sells well WWE could decide to renew the license again with them but there are reports they have been talking with EA and would probably have the UFC devs make it if it goes there.
I got the Standard edition of the game and after seeing the DLC roster I would have been mad if I spent $40 for guys like Logan Paul and Machine Gun Kelly added to my roster. Many of the usual legends that were always part of the roster by default were moved into the DLC packs so there are barely any new legends added this year but we do have like 30 versions of Rey Mysterio.
The PC version is kind of weird though as you cannot turn on Vsync or pick the Texture quality as the Texture quality choice is tied to your resolution and video card ram and even though the benchmark might say you are getting 300 fps, the game is locked to 60 fps and 30 fps for some of the camera cuts and entrances so it can be jarring and have noticeable screen tearing.
The one plus this year is that they made the Community Creations cross platform so PC players will finally get access to all the great CAWs from the console creators.

I dunno if I could care enough to play any new wrestling games if they don't feature the Attitude era players. WWF No Mercy on N64 will always be my go to

I haven't really watched WWE at all in years but still like playing the games as I just get all the old 90's wrestlers I like either as Mods or CAWs. I do not know who half of the wrestlers are on the current game roster as most of the ones I liked all went to AEW so they kind of feel like the WCW of the 90's.
