Man...this, Killer Instinct, Street Fighter, and such used to be my 'thing' in highschool early 90s.
Go to the arcade with 4 quarters and stay all day playing. As the winner in 2 players got to keep going, the loser had to pay again (or the next guy).
This looks amazing, can't get into it like I used to for some reason..dunno why

I remember playing KI 1 on Super Nintendo in my apartment around when I met my life.
4-5 friends come over, and take turns "loser passes the controller to the next guy". And I played it SO much in arcades, and at home I'd eventually get bored of being the winner I'd start letting whoever I was playing against pick who I was, then after that for a while, just give up my controller to take a break.
Ah, the memories of kicking my friend's ass over and over.
