I recently reinstalled again cuz there is no other fix like it. Good games sport timeless gameplay.
I replay it every couple of years. It's a timeless game. MP2 is probably even better gameplay-wise, but I just don't like it as much as 1. And MP3 is something I don't plan to play ever again. I loved the shooting, but the constant cutscenes completely butchered the experience for me.
There's a fix right now that lets you skip all the cutscenes when you want as soon as they load (which on an SSD is a few seconds max). I recently replayed Mp3 and it still holds up damn well.
James macaffrey is amazing.
I replayed both last year and 1 aged... kinda badly. The 2nd one? Oh man. Still amazing.
3 was very good too. I need to replay it.
btw - this is the real ending to max payne

I replayed the first Max Payne last year and I still enjoy it. It's definitely not like the first time I've ever played it and it hasn't aged great, but it was still a fun experience.
I got 3 recently during the Steam sale with the idea to replay it, but oh boy that backlog keeps getting bigger and bigger
I was thinking it would be cool to post some full releases.
OK. Nevermind.
Don't stop posting releases, please.
For me it's always nice to see new releases, especially since front page is dead.

Replayed this and it's still a fucking great game. The gunplay is still unmatched. Graphics also hold up really well. Sure, there a bit of low-poly here or there, but overall it isn't held back technically and still looks the part. Just shows how little development there is in games in the last 10+ years.
Had some issues with ultra-widescreen. While the game itself adapts fine, the cutscenes were in "tiktok" mode. And none of the mods helped... Also not being abel to skip most cutscenes is a real bummer and keeping me from replaying this more often.
Gameplay is still great through, my biggest criticism would be that all automatic rifles are not distinct enough from each other and that shotguns are mostly useless.
Somebody really needs to take the gunplay from this and simply change the gameplay from being cover-based to John-Wick-bulletproof-suit mobility and it would be a banger game.

Yeah, I don't remember any mouse-related issues in this or in GTA5 (same version of the engine). Can't imaging playing MP3 without precise mouse control.
I tried it too, and it has aged really well. The graphics look great/exeptional in 4K, with everything maxed out on the 5060 Ti 16GB. I’m getting between 100 and 165 FPS. But after 15 minuts, nah... already finished that game in 2012
