GoT is a way better Samurai/Shinobi/jpn themed game than this. This lacks atmosphere, voice acting is bad, combat animation is weak like there's no weight in it, music is out of the place, etc. Good thing is I've bought an deluxe edition account for 7€, not much money spent.

Ubisoft dont have to give a shit about japans hypocrisy. They're not spotless when they portray different countries and cultures themselves, but we just laugh it off.
Years and years of :
*rehashing same retarded mechanics in all of their game franchises,
*abandoning steam and game franchises for more profit (e.g. abandoning pop till it was too late/splinter cell),
*trying to make NFT games for ++predatory monetazation,
*pricing ultra deluxe super duper editions at outrageous prices,
*being one of the first companies to implement multiple season passes (r6 etc)
*plus them being famous for sexual harrasment and on top having the gall to tell gamers that something is historically accurate while its not and kind of imposing moral superiority when they dont like it (social justice ftw?)
has taken its toll.
Doesnt matter if the game is "actually good" or you "like"it.
The game didnt do good enough and is probably and hopefully the final nail in the coffin of a multi million company that never had your best interest in mind with their shitty monetazation.
But yeah keep up the culture war and protect the shitty company that doesnt give you beyond good and evil 2 or a new splinter cell.
I for one wish they 'd sell the ips and maybe those would go to companies that can actually deliver good games.
