Im curious. How is it fantastic? Im open minded. Please explain.
It has this great sense of exploration powered by the atmosphere, tons of mysteries, the location's variety and the need to manage loot in a limited inventory.
This is basically a detective game in a weird post apocalyptic world with British comedic elements.
When you say it like that it makes me wanna stick to the game and give it another chance. Might just do that. Thanks.,
TAA is the worst they said....i cant even remember the last time i saw aliasing in games, this game has no upscaling like dlss/taa, even at 150% increased resolution i see aliasing everywhere. i would happily trade some blur to get rid of this shit. yes everything is sharp but at wat cost.
so please go fuck urselves with no dlss bs thank u very much
as for the game, the more i play it the more i dont know if i like it or not
I finished it and I had a great time with it. I managed to get two different endings, but given how much I invested in most leads, I could probably get all of them if I wanted.
In a way, the game works a lot like Deathloop, excluding the rogue-lite elements. However, the execution here is much better. Tthe overall atmosphere and the mysteries are quite enticing and the level design is great. Too bad this game didn't have the same level of production value as Deathloop.
I wish to see more games like this in the future. This is a great formula.
tried to like it but gave up. i like the old school feel of it, the look, the atmosphere, the level design, but while i also like the sense of mistery i dont like fetching notes to advance the story. the recommended difficulty makes the game very frustrating sometimes because of how bad the combat is, stealth is meh and weapons feel weak and low ammo. reducing the difficulty a notch makes it way too easy.
Stealth is definitely undercooked and should have been better for the game they tried to make.
The devs even made sure there are plenty of paths to avoid combat. But they didn't provide enough tools and an engaging enough AI to make it worth trying.
