Arrived at ep05 now. Keeps getting better and better.
Hardy just looks so stylish with his clothes and the muscles.

Also ep04 had some nice fucking going on. Laughing

And finished.
Overall it was not too bad.

It went a bit downhill with ep06 though IMHO. In ep06 and partly ep07 Delayney acted so dumb with the alcohol and other stuff because of that accident.
While before that he was cool as stone and was prepared for everything.

Also the season finale was way too much planned by him.
I mean it looked cool to see everything connect. But noway would it be possible for one man to plan all the possibe connections to his desired outcome.

Hmmmmm..mmmm hmmmm mmmmmm hhmmmm mmmm hmmmm mmmm Hmmmmm..mmmm hmmmm mmmmmm hhmmmm mmmm hm.... Reaction

7.5+/10

+ great setting

+ good actors

- The story..Yeah..this is not The Count of Monte Cristo..

- Tom Hardy has very little to work with character-wise.

I liked it but it could have been much better...

@h0rnyfavn
I actually find his "Hm." and "Mhmh?" cool. Very Happy

I just found it strange, that also some other characters were talking like that.

It was promising in the beginning but it turned into a stylized shallow hot turd, it reminds me of Penny Dreadful for these reasons Laughing

Co-creator of the historical drama, Steven Knight, has confirmed that the show will only last for a total of three seasons.

Quote:
“I can feel the three acts. The first was ‘the escape’. The second will be ‘the journey’ and the third will be ‘the arrival’, and that’ll be it. I don’t think the story will be what viewers are expecting, but hopefully they’ll enjoy it.”

sauce
Makes sense, it's a good plan in my opinion, since dragging the show for too long can lead to disappointing scenarios that would make it lose focus.

(Personally I greatly enjoyed the first "act" [heavy grunting], even with its up and downs and the time spent looking at itself in the mirror Razz)

I watched it on HBO OD in march or may in one sitting and I liked it. I would leave it at one season.

Wut?

Season 1 was just like a very long prologue for what will come.

Steven Knight Confirms ‘Taboo’ Season 2; Production Starts Late 2019 or Early 2020.

The filmmaker confirmed that Taboo season 2 is definitely happening. The second go-around, which is “almost completed” in terms of the writing stage, will once again be eight episodes long and will hopefully go into production in late 2019 or early 2020.

Knight also confirmed that Taboo is currently designed to have a three-season arc.
