Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Hank Azaria, Colman Domingo and Alan Tudyk join the cast in voice roles. THE ELECTRIC STATE premieres globally on Netflix MARCH 14.
I think it would be a movie that kids in 80s/90s would enjoy. A high budget schlock that their minds wouldn't mind. But for me it was just meh.

Very good, i give it a 7/10, i rarely enjoy new movies, didn't have to take a break (and usually i never come back to see the rest.)
leftist pieces of shit likely gave it those 3/10 because they couldn't handle how Kid Rock was mentioned in the start, and it wasn't even in a hateful way.. lol... So predictable. "We gotta cancel the movie now boys!". It was like biting into a sour apple for these retards and they couldn't let it go for the rest of the movie.
Movie was ok, but I fail to see where those $300mln went. Some scenes felt cheep. Like one in the desert when robot caries the car on the shoulder, there is a scene just before the mall scene, where it clearly shows being done on a green screen (lighting doesn't match), and framerate of the background is choppy (at least it was for me, checked it multiple times to confirm). Some scenes are less impressive then things we see in video games this days.
good movie my ass this is a shit movie and all reviews are bad to the point of marvel getting nervous for the two upcoming avengers movie, not even a 6 on imdb everything they did after endgame was trash and they become irrelevant
waste of a 300mil budget direct into the garbage bin of streaming pile of forgettable shit movies
I liked it so much I often used colours from it, ideas, atmosphere etc. To me, it was about a sort of bleak, minimalist aesthetic, largely seen in isolated areas, often in Europe. So for a movie to arrive, as a comedy, that completely Americanises everything, with two overused actors... it kind of made it feel a bit gross.
Followed him since i first saw his paintings, i guess most Swedes are super familiar with his work.
I wouldn't call it a comedy though, the topics are pretty far from that, but sure, it has some comedic characters. There's absolutely a few scenes that looks similar to his paintings.. His book does take place in America so of course it will be very americanized in movie form as well.
I was pleasantly surprised it didn't feel as "2025" as i thought it would. To me it feel similar in tone to something older, like AI (which I was a big fan of), but a bit more easy to watch perhaps.

It's decent enough for what it is, a very easy to watch action / adventure
However...
I followed Stålenhag's art for years before this came about. FYI:
