Of course it had tombs! They were just difficult to find and explore!
Dunno which secrets are more laughable, the "tombs" in tomb raider, or the "secrets" in far cry 3, that are on the mini map as soon as you start the game for the first time

If SteamSpy's sales estimation is to be believed the PC version is the best selling SKU.
Owners: 2,994,421 ± 77,416
A second platform cannot possibly have sold another 3M because then you can't really split the remaining 2M to the other three platforms in a way that would make sense.
That being said GPU bundles and $5 keys (a good portion of the PC sales) are not much profitable.

Alright, you can mock me for my bullshit now I suppose, I have a confession, heh. So, I've been pretty bored lately as my mess of a PC can't run any game. I also started to be more accepting of certain games I guess. I got the complete release for this and I'd be lying if I'd say I'm not enjoying it in some way. And that way is as NOT Tomb Raider. It's a nice game.
I don't really hate this game anymore, still hate Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics for going this route with it though. I still think it's not a Tomb Raider game. They clearly looked at the more popular series, Uncharted, for inspiration as to how to reboot again. It's also very clear that they took elements from the Arkham games.
Here's what I'd like to see changed in the next one for it to be an actual Tomb Raider game. Get rid of QTEs completely (even though the previous trilogy also had them, hated them there too). Get rid of the skill system, it's pretty dumb. I like the weapon upgrading system, but I'd like to have my old laser-scoped magnum back, by combining items RE-style like in the old games. I also want to see less combat, the old games had combat, yes, but they weren't about that, whereas this one seems to focus a lot on it. Focus instead on more interesting puzzles (which are really laughable in this) and well... just more of them, it's what the game should mainly be about, plus platforming that is. Speaking of which, that could be more complex as well. I also want complete control over simple actions like crouching and walking back (not a big thing, but still slightly annoying).
Now, there's another thing, of course: the tombs. I've seen over time that pretty much everyone complained about this, but I have something else to say on the matter. Why the fuck are tombs pointed out specifically? As in: you found secret tomb, holy shit! If some old king has his tomb there and the location is called Tomb of King Whatever sure, but they call their optional puzzle locations "tombs" even if they have nothing to do with the word, just to make the title fit. It's dumb.
Locations like that need to be mandatory, the game should be built around that theme, like the old ones. You should go through ancient locations all the time, in search of artifacts / relics, solving puzzles, doing challenging platforming. It should be about adventure. It should be like Indiana Jones.
Now, I get it, this was a "the origins of Lara Croft as an adventurer" game mostly, which by default meant less of that I guess. Somewhat understandable. If this whole tombs thing is the same in the next game though, it's going to be less so.
Anyway, sorry for bothering you peeps with this long post. Just had some thoughts on this since I started playing it.

I finished this game yesterday and I had a blast. If you ignore the usual collectathon crap it's a really fun action game. What surprised me the most was how modern it still feels and especially how good the graphics still look maxed out in 4K. It had a very crisp image with awesome texture details. Call me insane but to me it looks better than most games which came out in the last three years. I wonder why such an old game had such amazing texture details when most games nowadays look worse and require a much more powerful GPU and 12+ GB VRAM.
I was bored last week and decided to replay it (last time I've played it was in 2016). It aged great. Graphic is very good, nothing is blurry there are no stutters. Collectibles are mostly ok and add to the story/lore (artifacts, documents and diary entries), but there is unfortunately some busy work (GPS caches or environmental things not show on the map)
It took me 15h to make like 90% walkthrough. And just checked that the Steam key costed me like 2$ in 2016 so that's the money well spent
Obviously QTEs are still annoying, the same with scripted fights or "arena fights". Aim assist doesn't work on animals, only on humans but this plays like any modern third person action game with some epic moments.
I'm tempted to finish the whole trilogy again but I don't think I have time for that
