If it was true that its basically the same for both sexes, then the ratio would be 1:1 on sex sites or in chats, it's not, not even close.
Again, women just aren't the same as men. Being incel for a man is absolutely a thing, and it might be an "issue" that should be discussed (though i don't think there's a lot to do, it's just... the nature of things). For women, not really, like with anything i'm sure they could be found but the ratio vs men would be laughable and you'd just say "ok, it's not really a thing."
I know for Sweden there's a lot of research on this and men outweighs women tremendously for involuntary celibacy. So there's actual scientific reasons why the whole "incel" thing started, it's not just BS or slander.
Then you can argue you think its wrong or sad that things are the way they are, e.g women "can't" sleep around and still be seen as serious or as "a total stud" for doing so, or that men can't get sex as easily as a woman. But its a different discussion.

Are we debating the realness of age old knowledge? I feel some people here are living on a different planet than the rest. Imagine saying something like "men can too" in the context of female easy to access relationships and sex. Yes, brad pitt can sure do that, you fucking can't.
At the end of the day, i'm sure a lot of you guys here (if you're not single) have settled. Just taken what you got really. Bunch of my friends did, and such is life for guys.

I did not imply it was just as easy. I said that no one is forced to absolutely no sex.
You are arguing the difficulty. I am arguing the ability. Incel isn't about how difficult it is, it claims there is no ability.

I've seen UGLY fucking guys, get laid. Granted by UGLY fucking girls. But they did get laid.
Give me a guy, a weekend out at dive bars, and by sunday night I could get Sloth from goonies laid. Now it might not be with a chick anyone else in the bar would hit on or he even wants to see naked. But he WOULD get laid.
There is always someone as ugly, and desperate as you are. So many people on dating sites, the women that 'scare small children walking past' types, don't get many swipes either on them..too many good options other than them.
The issue lies in willingness to accept that someone will fuck you, and not lack of ANY options to get it. Now is it someone you want to fuck? Probably not. But hardly anyone would want to fuck you either. So accept the odds and you will get some..reluctantly get some.

that's what incel means basically, i don't think they're 101% unable to ever get sex in their life, that's not what it means. Like i said previously, before we used "virgin" for these people, it's just people who doesn't have a lot of sex or never have sex. "Incel" do imply that these people are also angry about it and is acting out, that's the difference i guess.
I think it's a mix of actual issues (which are mainly down to this persons personality) + just current ideas / trends of how people like to come up with new words for people that they don't like.
I do know at least one person who's a virgin and is 40+, in his case it's not that he's fat and ugly, he's just super shy, super introvert, has no friends. Being shy / super introvert + women just doesn't mix. I don't think he's angry about it, but idk, don't know him that well at all, just some dude i used to sell weed to.
For women if they're shy we think its cute, for men, lol, nope dude, you need to work on that or you'll never get sex. A woman can get away with it if she looks good, she'll have men who's going to hit on her, for a woman who's really shy and just average looking, no problems either really, while for men it can absolutely become an issue.

I dunno, I know some women that into thier 30's was virgins.
They was shy, awkward, fat, and not that good looking.
For one of them all social media, dating sites, and tinder did for them was get catfished, trolled, ghosted, or generally made them feel worse. Guy would talk until, what we assume was: "Opps..gotta go, someone higher than a 1 wrote back. Good luck finding dick as a 1!".
Maybe your perception of how easy it is for women on the lower end to get laid is skewed? Sure its slightly higher than for ugly awkward to be around guys. But some dont get dick thrown at them. Some have it run away soon as it finds ANYTHING better to try for.
