Year is 1932. After many years away, the twin brothers Smoke and Stack return to their hometown in the Mississippi Delta. They've fought in the trenches of World War I and later became gangsters in Chicago. The brothers buy a piece of land with outbuildings from a white racist to open a music bar for plantation workers. The highlight of the opening night is a preacher’s son — the same one the twins once gave a guitar to — who plays the blues so well that he catches the attention of a nearby Irish vampire.

Ryan Coogler keeps grinding that storyboard-first approach. Making the entire movie with comic/motion artists first and then shooting it. Creed 3 was pretty cinematic (lack of a story though), early reviews for Sinners seem positive.
Either they learned how to game the system to perfection (RT/IMDB scores held back/bought before release) or it's going to be pretty good. Metacritic sits at 82%. Will check it out on the weekend.
I heard that true ending in this movie is midcredits scene. Cheesus the film industry should just drop that crap.

Just watched it. I hope you like black history revenge movies and white hate.
I score it 7.9/10. Some midmovie too much weed while writing the script scene and a bit too much hey remember that one scene I hope you would love to see it again. I would score it more if it hadn't have this much revisionism and was more straight horror movie.
