Not a fun type of game to play coop if you ask me. If you're not in sync about what you want to do it's not gonna be very fun. Some want to explore, some want to build bases, some want to upgrade. I enjoy upgrading, my friends enjoy base building, and i hate base building. Tedious shite. I ran around farming mats and upgraded slowly while they scoured the map for hours just to find a new base location. At the end all things come together of course, but mid game is a mess.

I don't even understand what's the grand idea of such MMO. The Dune Universe is massive, almost as close to Star Wars. Yet they make some basic MMO on the most boring planet, just because it's the most popular. But MMO can't work on this planet. MMO needs variable unique biomes to begin with. Arrakis is only sand and rocks. It's not possible to add snowy mountains or lush forests due to lore conflicts. So after 10 hours you pretty much see everything and eventually get sick of it. Imagine if Star Wars Online was based only on Tattoine or Hoth.
Maybe they are planning to add other planets and eventually galaxies if this becomes some stellar success but I highly doubt it.
This game should've been only single player or just co-op multiplayer.

By the end of the story arrakis is pretty much green.
So there is enough potential for biomes in the future.
Its just that the game still looks super bland ... and i dont know what to make of the idea of this being an "alternate universe"
Not read the books (yet) but David Lynch's movie ends with the rain and how it's becoming a forest or something. But the story in the game is some alternative without the Muad'Dib. Still, 1 planet for this universe is a travesty and waste of potential.
And from videos it looks worse than Once Human which is a f2p game,
