Looks good enough to me. Gameplay is much more important rather than is it the best looking game ever or not. Hopefully they will keep focus on what community prefers the most.

Game looks average even in the graphics department:
• all shit-brown with no aesthetic soul whatsoever
• hard to see those (brown) enemies - same problem in BFV
• NOTHING impressive in the map / environmental design
• average sound - guns have almost no sound (ever played BF1 / BC2?)
• game is COD - must keep dat TTK as low as possible so TWITCH derps don't get bored!111
• PREORDER NAO to get skins and skip progression ahead like a pRiCk!

We're certainly too old for this shit but what matters is if you enjoy playing or not.
Game does look, sound and "feel" good (from the 4+ hours of gameplay I watched last night), maps seem a lot better than the abominations included in the last game and very reminiscent of BF3, same as the slower soldier movement (according to most streamers playing it yesterday) which is also a good thing.
That being said I still need to play it myself to make my mind up (open beta in the next 2 weeks), and I'm not pre-ordering until a day or 2 before release if there isn't any nasty surprises till then. Btw, that would be my first purchase of a BF game at the time of release and full-price since BF4.
That IS cool - more games should do this. Hell, almost every game used to - so it's not like it's anything new.
Too bad about the whole Secureboot + TPM 2.0 required for the anti-cheat though. Not going to bother fucking about in the BIOS or borking a perfectly stable windows install just to play one game - even if it is my favorite series. Guess we'll see how effective that proves in the long run.

If you mean the early access beta. Then yes youre too late.
You will have to join in with everybody on the 9th, and you can already preload it on steam or the EA app.

Yeah, "streamlined experience"... Too CoDish for me for sure. I will check Open Beta, but for now I am very sceptical. They really did forget how to make good BF game.

The people who made "true" BF games aren't at DICE / EA anymore.
Said it before, but the only thing I might be interested in is Portal.
Hope to see what they made with that in OPEN BETAS, so I won't waste time later waiting for my refund...
