The first one was just OK, the second was complete an utter garbage.

No idea about his new one, but considering its 2025 I don’t hold out much hope.

Inheritance just came out and this was also filmed on an Iphone. ("and here is why that is a good thing", lol)
Wannabe edgy guerilla shit that is already becoming a trend it seems. Darling of the critics Boyle too late to the party. It's time to subvert the expectations (yet again), they even say so in the Featurette.
The guy is too full of himself - I am afraid the style, the message, the characters, the subversion of expectations will be in the way of an immersive, thrilling and coherent story being told but still hope I'm wrong.

I always enjoyed the 2nd one more than the first, which I found kinda boring. It's cliche and over the top, but also highly enjoyable. Amazing intro too.

The first one had its moments, but lost steam in the second half. The second one was pure garbage.

First film is more Cannes, the second film was more Hollywood.

Can't wait to watch this. Banging series and so pleased to see it's being received well.

Negative comments I’ve seen seem to be that some found it boring.
Personally I have no interest in going to the cinema or watching a CAM release so I’ll just wait 6 months or so for a WEB rip Very Happy

Fresh from cinema. The script is unfortunately beyond retarded.

Wasn't bad, but I liked 28 Weeks Later more. Felt kind of weak for a zombie flick. 6/10

That's a solid straight post-apocaliptic 7/10 movie.

I didn't like the set up ending for the Bone Temple, it's like those acrobats come from different universe.

Infected, sorrrrry Wink

I guess I was expecting a bit more tension overall. It's more of a coming of age film, as horny wrote, and it's pretty good for that. Nice visuals too, some great landscape shots.

There were no non-whites among the uninfected island dwellers.

That was odd for modern sensitivities. I guess Boyle saved some of them up for Dacosta's sequel. Razz
