Netflix and Ubisoft have teamed for an anime series adaptation of the video game “Splinter Cell”, Variety has learned.
Derek Kolstad, best known for his work writing the “John Wick” film franchise, will serve as writer and executive producer on the series. According to sources, the series has received a two-season, 16 episode order at the streaming service.
Seems random not getting Michael Ironside to voice Sam again. Do they think having Liev Schreiber would get people to watch that normally wouldn't otherwise.
Amazing is not the word I would use.
I will hold my breath. They strayed away from the magic and immersion since Splinter cell, that I doubt they could create that feeling again. Also this IS Netflix - even considering its anime.
