Holy threadromancy!

Soe....

Getting a tattoo, quite a large one, 2 half sleeve connected at the back, themed with the elements of fire and ice (provided the artist I hired can design something cool Smile

I myself cannot draw anything more than stick figures Sad

My first tattoo was a tiny gecko on calf Razz

Got this when a female friend of mine was training to become a tattoo artist. Thankfully we placed it between the elbow and wrist so it's not particularly noticeable. It was okay during the first pass when she did all the outlines. It looked sharp and just needed some work to fill in the lines etc. which made the tattoo look blurry and unclear, esp. compared to the design that we used. Still, it's a pretty cool motif; Vault Boy Made Man in B/W-cartoon style. I think I gave her €30 for ~4 hours total.

Still, I like it. I would've wanted it sharper and look more like the design that was transferred to my skin but that's what happens when you let a friend who's in training to become a tattoo artist. This was a few years ago, she's got a steady tattoo job in another town nowadays.

my 2nd from a while ago =D
was done by a trainee for free, might have the circle fixed at some point in time but after healing its hardly noticeable. Very happy with it, balances out the deus ex one nicely

@Nalo Guy I went to charges $200 per hour. So it's 800$ so far plus another 2-3 hours to finish off rest of shading and color so total going to be $1400.

He did good job, especially on the lines.
