is it worth buying if i loved SH2 and 3 (OG games) ?

Very different game tbh, atmosphere is closer to fatal frame imho especially 2.
I really like Ryukishi07's writing style and he never disappoints this game is no exception i still have not seen everything but so far the story is pretty great and i like the characters, puzzles are also pretty nice.

Combat i just set to story and i feel it's ok a bit more technical then older games and the stamina system can get annoying but after i got the hang of it i kinda liked it. I mean let's face it SH never really had very good combat especially not melee combat. Well at least the original games i've never played Homecoming or Downpour so i can't comment on those.

SH2 Remake is probably the best game in this regard since Bloober actually knows how to handle action combat.

The writer is an epic retard. He stafted writing a new saga and quit after one game due to not wanting to glorify war. Jesus what a lost cause i bet he faps to 10 year olds (like all japanese do), but war in games is a big nope!

I played around ~2 hours of SH f and got bored. The game feels way too clunky and limiting when it comes to gameplay. Uninstalled.

finished and in the end game is ok, combat gets better but still didnt liked it, feels floaty, and some of the repetitiveness levels aside the rest was great, amazing visuals and interesting story. also u need to watch the other endings to get the full picture

still, for a new entry in the franchise after so many years this was a solid first take

that sh1 remake cant come fast enough

The specific tone/setting and gameplay loop of the new entry don't appeal to me, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the SH1 Remake will shape up since it's the one that needs an overhaul the most, and with the Blooberfolks 2.0 more mature and improved(tm) the sensations are positive.

I finally played through SH2R last month before plunging into Cronos, it was a pleasant experience indeed. Faithful but with enough changes to keep it fresh and warrant the Remake tag, whilst adding references and boosting the survival horror gameplay/immersion. The only black goo stain was the performance which felt genuinely dodgy even by UE's non-existent standards.

SH2R was indeed great. Only if I had as much free time as I had as a teen to play it 10 times in a single week to unlock everything and experience every ending. Smile

I finished the true ending and i'll just say it again. Ryukishi07 is a epic retard. Likely a typical japanese shut in with no human contact. Imagine being this old and failing basic human emotions. He gets it on a shallow level, but when it goes deeper he just...

Not surprised. I haven't finished it since I can only play a few hours a day, but I pretty much gave up on the story at the point you get the best "weapon" in the game. That whole thing was just silly to me, although I don't expect that was the intent. Made the combat sections there a lot more enjoyable since you just murder everything. Although, to be fair, I was already basically the terminator in this game, and the monsters the innocent victims.

There's a lot of individual ideas I like, but the game as a whole is kind of a mess, dragged down further by the terrible combat.

Didnt hate it. Hated certain aspects of it. Its not simply to love or hate, there are nuances.

I finished this last night 6/10. Combat is atrocious, the stamina is infuriating and the story is fucking demented but it certainly looks beautiful. Would not play again for the other endings.

No he's a faggot with male ass hair between his teeth. Anyway, story is engaging, but not dynamic enough. Regardless what ending and circumstance, hinako always does the same things through the story. Its lazy as fuck, but what keeps ypu going is the promise of that extra special "true ending"

There's an obscure website out there that you can go to and watch the other endings to save you from the self punishment of replaying the game 95 times.

Already done it, but i truly hate watching others play. That is a last resort usually reserved only when i'm incapable of playing. Feks if i miss an event with story in genshin etc.

What i did for this game. Might grind some gears but let's be honest, who gives a fuck? I played the first playthrough normally. Next playthroughs i used a trainer for invincibility, no durability loss and 2x damage. I turned off the trainer for the new final boss for every playthrough. I cheated repetitive content and played normally for new content. Saved a shitton of time.

I think that's fair enough, but I wouldn't even put in that much effort myself. I played the game once and that was more than enough. I also played it with my daughter which took away 50% of the burden and obviously makes it more fun. I youtubed that shit when we were done.

Nahh, doing it myself whether it's annoying or not. Watching either retards playing on english or utter mongoloids playing japanese with their ugly pizzafaces plastered on the screen is no fucking go.

The video I watched had no one on screen, but I will agree with you...the game was in English. It sounded like a teens afternoon TV show. The English localisation was shockingly bad. I'm glad I played it in Jap.
