Why does every single show of these devolve into young adult or "poor family dealing with the situation" types of nonsense stories? Can't be just about cost. Or is the cheap writers they hire always young, and think resonates the most with the audience? It always fall flat on its face. This is no exception. The mumbling brother actor. The kids in adult bodies turning young adults The young adult "boy genius" being an imbecile retard The ship crew being absolute brain-dead morons except for the black villain guy The tiny stunt actor in xenomorph suite (For reference, the original xenomorph in Alien was played by a 208cm actor! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolaji_Badejo)
The only good thing about this season was Timothy Olyphant and the large eye sheep.
I don't know, the criticism is mostly valid but it wasn't THAT bad. It's yet another case of writers not talented enough but presentation was very good.
Some earlier episodes were written quite well even, towards the end it got more and more ridiculous and cliché. Still inclined to give this a 7 overall. (but it should have been 8 or 9 since expectations were high)
