For TV-series, the only people who ranks them, in general, are the people watching, the fans. That's why their scores can be insanely high, even crappy TV-series.

I have watched Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, Clone Wars. i have also watched parts of Tales of the Jedi via a fan made star wars supercut (its incredible) and part of Andor.
Book of Boba Fett wasn't great but absolutely watchable and some parts were cool to see, lore wise.
Clone Wars is incredible, the best SW has to offer overall apart from ESB. The writing is top notch.
When i watched the SW supercut, i noticed even more how incredible the writing is because it makes it into a movie more than small snippets here and there which will detract from the experience a bit, e.g having a super cool story sometimes and then it cuts to something less interesting for a while, to later come back to the story, and for many episodes or even spanning seasons. When you watch it as a 3-4h movie its another experience because its just the good parts of the main story line(s).
Not even sure a supercut of Andor would cut it (hehe) for me. Edit: oh right, the supercut actually does contain Andor i just remembered, i just stopped watching when it got to that part and watched the series... which might have been a mistake.. its 29h in total.

I haven't watched anything starwars related since the prequels. Mainly due to how it turned into a "for kids" IP with the safest writing possible and mostly animated productions since Disney. Then people kept praising Andor and I had to see for myself.
It's good. It's as good as starwars has ever gotten so far. I'm no starwars fanatic and perhaps the more relatable and grounded approach is what drawed me in. Not a single lightsaber in sight, no force, no binary good vs evil; both sides are humanized and deeply flawed characters with realistic ambitions and reactions given their position in society. The empire and rebellion lore has never ever been this fleshed out, period.
I see why it might seem boring to someone who tunes in to starwars to see lightsabers go bzzz and blasters go pewpew but it's definitely not for everybody. For me tho it's the best starwars media that's been produced in many decades. And honestly quite suprising that Disney allowed it to happen.

In what way is it a crime to talk about both the good shows and the bad shows?
Mandalorian was a good show, at least the first season, Clone Wars is way better overall, much more consistent. Book of Boba Fett, not great, but watchable, much unlike the absolute bore that is Andor. Some episodes in Book of Boba Fett was like a 4/10 though, but far from every episode.
Stefan, if you are so low IQ you can't even come up with anything apart from emojis, then just shut the fuck up. Posting emojis doesnt contribute to anything on a forum. if someone is 12 years old or retarded its expected perhaps.

Yeah, that's why your """"""arguments""""" are emojis.
You're truly are one of the most stupid people i've ever encountered on a forum.

Same. I was bummed after I heard that it would end after Season 2 (instead of having the planned 5 seasons) and was getting ready to mad at Disney, but then I found out they actually pumped over $600M into both seasons. I hadn't really looked into any meta-info on the series before, but Disney really did not cheap out on this series and however much I would have loved to see more, I cannot blame them if they didn't see a business case for spending another 300M USD...

no idea why you believe i watch critical drinker, can't stand that dude.
how is watching a supercut retarded? explain. Did you even watch it? Highly doubt you did + you likely have never watched clone wars series either since you're not a real fan, just a stupid NPC who watches NPC shows like Andor which is just garbage tier "let's use star wars to make generic WW2 sci-fi"-shit that no true fan of SW would touch with a five foot pole.

To be fair the galactic empire was tightly wrapped around a specific faction of WW2. Aesthetics and mannerism weren't trivial.

like i already said, having for example many of the stories from Clone Wars cut together with no interruptions makes you appreciate these great stories a lot more. Even a retard like you should be able to understand that.
Overall there's a lot of fluff in SW that isn't great for the pacing or doesnt do the story any services. For games we have mods, some good, some bad. Same for movies, not all fan cuts are great, but there are some immensely talented fans out there with tons of knowledge and can sometimes do things that surpasses the original idea.
Hardly something strange if you have ever played a good mod that improved a game, for example.
@jackbomb it's not meant to be the overarching theme of SW, which it pretty much becomes here, it's way too "on the nose", that was not Lucas idea of SW at all, that it was Schindler's list but science fiction. His SW mixes Seventh Samurai, Hidden Fortress with pulp science fiction like Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. The WW2 inspiration is mostly seen in the battles.
I MUCH prefer his very original take than this garbage, this is so typical for modern sci-fi, super generic and expected - let's make it like WW2 but its sci-fi. Doesn't mean you can't do it and it cant be enjoyable as a one-of, but the idea of a whole series is just meh and the result was just shit. Who even watched S2 of this, which is supposed to be WORSE. lol. More drawn out scenes with some imperial officer eating food at a table and talking about his life with his mother? uninteresting characters at a camp talking and talking for 3 episodes? Not my Star Wars..

@vurt while I agree that there's a Star Wars for everyone - me and my missus differ on some appreciations but we're still enjoying the original saga greatly - as great stories do, I took Andor S02 as one capsule in a planet with a storyline that can actually occur under such conflict. It's the same with Mando, a different capsule of events pertaining to the same universe. The rebellion collapse and the empire rising would have many sides of the same dice!

You can add Jedi Fallen order and Jedi Survivor to that. I'm quite enjoying these games as I do the new series. Especially Andor.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
