I get it, some people look forward to becoming next Greta, but why they are still given a tribune at UN, and why this obvious nepotism?
Because social politics is respected in the west, and the reason the rest of the world don't respect the west at all. Imagine listening to some snot nosed brat and taking her seriously.

Imagine allowing anyone as an authority of something on the world stage, and listening to them, that has no education or background in that thing.
Her being a kid of a celebrity or a random nobody isn't my issue. It's that rich and famous, or poor and unknown, either way I'm not sure how they get time at UN to talk about a thing they have not done one day of formal education in.
I'd give 100x more credibility to a random off the shelf epidemiologist on the street. Than anyone...rich or poor, famous or a nobody talking, about it at a world conference.
Your passion for a thing alone, in no way qualifies you to be a world authority on it. Go have your sham paid for TEDx, roleplaying as a TED talk, and leave it at that.

I was adding onto it as:

with: "Right? Add to that also imagine famous or not, listening to what she says simply because she was invited to the UN with no background in squat to do with her subject matter".
if she, or some random homeless dude was up there same to me: Who is this? Why are they speaking as a vocal authority on this again? If your name doesn't end in PhD, MPH, or MD (or DO)...how did you get up there to talk about it?
