TL;DW: just like experienced during the beta, a well optimized game that can be enjoyed using a wide range of hardware.

I only 'cared' about Gamespot Laughing

Speaking of

In Progress

The Good
Gunplay is solid and packs a punch
Familiar classes are clear in their parameters, and each one feels viable
Signature traits and gadgets ensure each class is distinct and allow for some harmonious loadout combinations
Crouch sprinting and dragging downed teammates to safety are welcome additions

The Bad
The single-player story is bland and forgettable despite an intriguing premise
Campaign missions are uninspired and frequently dull

Nice! So, campaign is shit, as expected.

From yours and other early gameplay vids (vs actual people) I've seen, the Manhattan Bridge map looks fantastic and seems fun to play, so much verticality.
Well... there goes my plan to give SP a shot down the shitter. I've barely been following it, but if that secure boot shit applies to the overall game this probably will never get cracled, right? Confused

All that SecureBoot shit is a direct requirement of EA's fancy "Javelin" anti-cheat system - I don't think it has anything to do with DRM'ing the actual game (it's not like Denuvo). Not sure what DRM they're using.

Does preload on Steam still encrypt the whole game and it takes longer to decrypt than just downloading after release? 35 minutes to download

While I lost all interest after hearing the campaign is so boring, it's at least nice to see a AAA well quite optimized. I appreciate them focusing on performance rather visual fidelity, including consoles. The game does look quite good and has a solid 60 fps, which is really not the standard nowadays. And on PC, even lower tier cards are able to get to 60 fps natively on FHD.

Well I joined the queue at 200 something thousand, got to the end of it and then got kicked back to 448000 in the queue again. To be honest, I expected shenanigans like this. Very Happy

It sounds to me like 90% of the soldiers on the battlefield are female. WTF is going on?

Anyway, other than that the game is good. It absolutely hammers my CPU though. 98% usage pretty much all of the time with my 5700x3d. I guess I should upgrade.

That's weird, I'm on a 3700x and it stays at 65-70% most of the time. GPU usage very high (95-99%), and this is playing @1080p.

Hmmm, curious. I didn't have this in the beta as far as I remember. Not sure what's going on then.
