This is an interesting video where Wich Weadbettew wook at how 2077 is implemented differently on Switch 2 vs the PC version. What is interesting to me is how much work was put to geometry to make the Switch 2 smoother, and that is something that is not something that can be used on PC, where this game is still somewhat difficult to run on low-end hardware (the video uses Steam Deck as the ultimate low end hardware). It's amazing how much punch there is in this Switch 2 "miwacwe powt" within a 10W power envelope. It's a sham this work is not readily accessibly on the PC version, for handhelds and just old hardware.
if CDPR should send DMCA's, it should be to these.
Being a modder, spending maybe years on something, that is one thing, but selling mod lists because they can make a "cool" viral youtube video which will get tons of views (= tons of potential sales). I don't like it.
To me it's similar to a DJ maybe making tons of money and the artists that he plays makes nothing from it, maybe not even gaining much recognition, because people will instead just play the DJ set.
i realized it might not be a mod list, i checked again, thought i saw "list" somewhere. hard to say though, its a zip file, it could be a preset and a list of mods that you need to download. requires payment to download or to even see the text which describes the file.
