Well, at least the odds of the game being complete and not have a ton of content cut to meet a deadline is pretty high. They can afford that since they know it's probably the most wanted game on the PC and they won't lose anything by pushing it back.

Why are we talking about PC currently? At the end of next year it's coming to consoles. Like previously, this is the only official confirmation.
GTA5 came to PC almost 2 years later.

I wonder how "old" the game's design is by now. Since the game began development 13 years ago, players' expectations of open world games have changed, most notably through Zelda and Elden Ring.

@Iwasfaggotonce It's gonna take a year at most (see RDR2 time span from PS4) unless they specifically aim for PS6 double dip and that could be 2028 for all we know.

Yeah something like that and our 7090's will hopefully run it at 4K/60FPS.

And that's being very optimistic. Of course granted that the gpu doesn't melt down and burn entire rig to a crisp!

Game will probably turn out to be some overrated garbage I'll be fine with not playing as soon as it releases on PC in the year of our lord 2032...

who cares nowadays? regular case with a worthless disc, because it does not contain the complete game or needs to download a 50gb update before first launch, because they need to be pressed weeks prior.
fast internet speeds changed that ages ago, even for derpsoles. doesnt mean its not bad practice at all, it is.

I checked now and GTA5 on was 5 months after PS4. So there's hope. And was initially supposed to release at the same time.
