anyone playing this solo? its like round basen (like pubg) with some exp/skills/leveling up or what? is it fun at all or should i just try that free battlefield battleground stuff and ignore it? looks decent, hype seems to be strong, but so seemed in helldivers
The game is honestly great and a lot of people prefer it solo I think.
I play this one with my Dad but when he’s not playing, I do enjoy it on my own.
I think it’s the unpredictable and dynamic gameplay that keeps me hooked.
It’s occasionally very tense as well thanks to PvP and time constraints.
I think the game is reallly fun, there is much loot hidden away behind locked doors etc. PvP is sometimes a pain, but had fun with it too. The enemies can be tough too. Lots of crafting, looting ziplines, you can barricade doors.
Played solo, but sometimes you help someone, or sometimes you get help. You can talk to each other.
You have to exit with a kind of lift in a bunker, by pressing the button it takes a while (30 seconds or so) for it to open up. Seen some fun stuff with the exits, people placing jolt mines in front of the button. And sticky grenades on the button. Someone comes running up and first the jolt goes off electrocuting them and instantly the stickies go off, hilarious
I don't like extraction shooters. I think they're shit.
They are the symbol of what's worst in humanity: selfishness, malice, hatred, the impossibility of act as one in harmony and collaboration, to the massive gain of the group (not the individual).
But I am GLAD the developers (ex-DICE) can reap the benefits of their passion and talent they put over the years in the industry.
