all of this complaaning about how much space games take up on hds. the games gotta look good somehow. the better they look the higher res textures are needed the more space is needed. very simple math.

The game is finally in stores. 6 fucking CDs, because the US is apparently filled with people too ignorant to upgrade to DVD-ROM, even in 2006.

1. I'm not in Europe.
2. The European version (including the Limited Edition directly from Funcom) will almost certainly be using StarForce.
3. Do you ever post anything at all useful?

well ive been playing it for the last 2 hours. Its ok its basically a totally story driven game (the story is excellent btw and very well executed) the combat system leaves hella lot to be desired. But basically so far you go to point A talk to someone go to point B talk to someone else etc etc, if you like interactive movie type games then u'll love this

Thats what i do. Because i have learned to DELETE games after im bored of them\ completed them. But some people just have to burn them because they think they will play them later etc. I don't have time for that if im going to follow the Games scene ^^

Ya the first game was all about dialogues and story too.
How about the controls? is the camera bad in confined places?
How about graphics do they feel dated?

the camera is ok it moves left it moves right up and down (only a little teeny bit) the way its designed there isnt really anything to obstruct the camera. The graphics look fine to me it doesnt feel dated it looks right for the game it is, there's a good system where you can pinpoint something you want to look at without walking right up to it.

The failing in the game control wise imho is the attacking system is very clunky it almost feels like an after thought its not so bad that it totally distracts you from what is an otherwise good game but it makes you take mental note. That being said i got up to chapter 3 last night before i had to turn the game off and you fight with the system 3 times.

Aspyr used Securom 7 for North America. That's confirmed.

Funcom is using StarForce for anything they self-publish (Norwegian version and all limited editions). That's also confirmed via email responses from people at Funcom that have been posted to the official boards.

The European publisher is Micro Application, and they are known to use StarForce. So far, I don't think anyone's gotten an answer from either Funcom or MA about the copy protection, but it seems likely to be SF.
