Deathstalker (2025). 6.5/10 Pure 80's sword and sorcery flick with some very nasty looking puppets, costumes and props.

Deathstalker 7/10. The jokes got a little repetitive but it was a pretty great homage to 80's slop fantasy movies, though obviously without any kind of boobage. we had quite a few laughs!

Bugonia Dunno/10

I don't know what to think about this movie. I'm glad I didn't seen it in cinema. Doom scrolled xmas present for half it run time and didn't missed a beat. I dunno if it's bad or good. On contrary notes I didn't liked the ending on design, visual level.
Definitely one of the more polarizing movies of this year.

The Running Man - 2/10
Holy shit it was really, really bad. Half assed, for 80% of the movie he just runs away in disguises stolen from Clouseau...
It's like Wright just gave up 10 minutes in.

Now You See Me: Now You Don't 5/10

I wasn't aware this triquel exists until I torrented it. I barely made it thru this dull and selfaware crap. How did it even earn 214 mils.

Fellowship of the ring (extended 4k) 10/10

25 years later and this movie still amaze me. I think there is like 2-3 cgi scenes in total that i don't like, but the quality of the whole movie is outstanding.

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

I rewatched the trilogy a few months ago and was equally (still) amazed. In particular The Return of the King stood out to me. Like, I remember when seeing it in the theatre back then, the long/multiple endings felt a bit dragging, but now I wanted it to go on even more Very Happy

Glass Onion - A Knives Out Mystery 8/10
I ignored this movie because of the director and him screwing up Star Wars Episode 8 Very Happy but this was very enjoyable. The scene at the dining table at the start of the 'murder mystery game' and Daniel Craig gives his deduction made me laugh out loud Laughing

Wake Up Dead - Man A Knives Out Mystery 7.5/10
While not as good as the previous one (less Daniel Craig), still a fun ride overall.

Now You See Me Now You Don't (2025) 5/10
I was mostly interested because I remembered them shooting at the grand market in Antwerp. I appreciate the use of practical magic tricks, but like the previous ones, the added CGI makes the end result lame and unbelievable and the actual effort they put into it pointless. Most of the time, they first show us the trick as part of the audience using CGI, and after the fact they show the contraptions that "could have been used to give a similar effect, in theory".
The acting is also horrible.

Nuremberg 8/10
Very good all around, even Rami Malek surprised me, finally a perfect fit for this type of role. And needless to say, a must watch especially with current world events in mind.

The Running Man 6/10
I didn't think this was too bad. Apart from the last 10-15 minutes or so, pretty fun no-brainer.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Tron: Ares: 2/10. this was horrible. i am so glad i didn't see this at the cinema. what an absolute shit movie. Trent Reznor suck ass too, overrated elevator electro, same shit music as the highly overrated Daft Punk, "electronic music for plebs".
