It's more PvE oriented? I heard some streamers say they had shootouts with other players just couple of times after 50 hours of playing.
But still just the word PvP makes me don't want to try it.

So, I got around 30h of game and this game is way more oriented to PVE. I play mostly solo and most (around 90%) of my encounters i just say "dont shoot" and it works.

I fail to see how "the division 2" compares to any extractiion shooter. It's basically normal ubislop with coop
Arc Raiders Frostbite is a new condition that will be present on the maps affected by the Cold Snap update, specifically Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport and The Blue Gate.
This new mechanic basically applies cold weather survival to matches, where extreme temperature will now apply a Frostbite effect to players who stay outside too long, slowly draining health over time. Shelter and healing items will be needed to avoid and remove the effect.
Obviously I’m aware that cheating in online games on PC is normal these days but actually seeing it is kinda eye opening!
I do hope turning off crossplay prevents this kind of thing on console, the dirty bastards!

It’s my first time playing this type of game, and damn, I’ve enjoyed it way more than I expected.
I just checked my playtime - 90 hours. That’s totally not like me, but I keep coming back for more.

I think console players have their own way of cheating. Dunno if they have the same kind of cheats though, but i do know there are multiple hardware solutions for cheating on console.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
Same here, love it very much, except sometimes for the "pvp"ers that shoot you in the back. Have 370 hours and counting. Never played multiplayer shooters or extraction shooters.

If it's not clicking for you, it's not clicking for you. There are no games made for everyone. If it's not doing it for you within 2 to 4 hours...bin it.
What did you do in those hours? Try doing quests, building or finding materials for you workshops or blueprints for gear and weapons?
For instance, Blue Gate looks like a dull map, but when you go below the surface it gets really fun.
You can also do "trials" which will earn you new outfits and gear, sometimes blueprints. Also some projects can be done. "Feats" will have tasks like: do a certain amount of damage to arc with medium ammo, kill flying arc etc.
