Did you think we’d forgotten about this?

That’s fair. It has been a little while since we’ve had real news on the project. Well, now you can rest assured that – while these things take time – work is well and truly underway on the animation.

This teaser trailer is not actually clips from the new animation, instead showing a compilation of shots that represent the former lives of the characters that will appear in the show.

Astartes II is set to land in 2026. We know, it’s still a little way off, but it’ll be worth it.

Never heard of this TV show from 2018 but it has 9.2 rating on IMDB which is wild.

I think this is it but didn’t realise it was so short lol.

Since there is no talking, the Doom music works pretty well! Very Happy

May the NFOrce be with you always.

It wasn't a tv show, it's a short movie made by a single dude released on youtube. He also worked on the Warhammer episode of Secret Level.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

Yeah, he was hired by Games Workshop some time after those Astartes shorts. Though I've heard some rumors he didn't spend much time there, but apparently it's false since SL is fairly new and his hiring was quite some time ago.

As long as CGI looks and animates worse than the video games, I can't take these seriously, sorry Laughing

His name is in the credits of the SL short, but from what I understand, his contributions were not that large.

Some of the stuff from Warhammer+ is pretty ok - Pariah Nexus, The Exodite, The Tithes. Haven't seen Kill Lupercal yet, so I can't say anything about it.

There are some animated ones there as well

Noticed that too. Hard to say how much influence he had though.

They're currently deciding how badly they can rape the lore while still getting away with it Laughing

Game play is one thing, graphics and animation smoothness is another. Space Marine 2 looks better than anything posted in this thread.
