I think what this game makes it good even some things are really bad like double-jump/glide or the gfx sometimes bugging out is that they cramped so much into it and dont explain it that you either look it up or grinds your gears till you get the "duh" moment.
You can do all sorts of shits like exploring, farming, stealing, grinding and so on that you never get bored, you are not for fighting right now - no prob, you do something else but never feel overwhelmed.
In the beginning i thought i missed much as i thought the tutorial is long done but turns out you still unlock new shit even after chapter 8. I struggled alot on the way as i tried content not supposed to be done now. This on top of all the other stuff makes it more of a learning experience rather than being handhold all the time where the tutorial is one chapter and then you can rush to the end boss - not happening here.
Even with the flaws it has i think its a solid 9 because the world is beautiful crafted with nice traversal and tons of stuff you can do but also have other means to fullfill your needs like sending out mates to gather stuff than stealing yourself.
The abyss sucks, the only good part is the view down. The puzzles are the worst in gaming history. The sole challenge is figuring out the controls and what you are supposed to do in the first place.
Yes, I did enjoy the Abyss. I've finish this first one you start at the beginning of the game and then the one you are introduced in chapter 4 to get elemental skills and got to the "fire" one for now (only lightnings seems to be left for me). Some are crazy annoying, but if you have your stats and skills up a little bit, you can at least skip a lot of bs parkour parts.
The puzzles are rather simple, just require to run back on forth a lot which tend to be frustrating but when I get to the solution I get good endorfin rush.
And having Abyss unlocked allows you to travel to the part of maps you haven't visited before so that is a nice bonus. I was in a kind of flow so I've enjoyed it a lot after like a day of only grinding the camp, great change of pace
If you don't enjoy it now, maybe come back to it later with a different mindset or just use YT guides to go thorough puzzles quickly.
Small hint, in the abyss if you fall down youi can use your axiom power hand to grapple the air and hold onto nothing, then press start/escape and you spawn back on top of the platform.

I'm never gonna enjoy it. The puzzles are poor quality and the devs lack creativity. It's the same mechanic all over and the only difficulty comes from the fact that it is often just unclear what you are supposed to do. It just feels like a grind.
Compared to the puzzles from the modern Zelda games for instance this is a complete joke.
