The new m705 has nothing in common with the old apart from looks btw, did som research, not too many seems happy with it (reddit etc), though the amazon reviews are great but they might include very old reviews. |

yeah, free wheel scrolling would've been nice, it's not on the G305, but other than that it's a good mouse, we'll see if it holds up...

Fucking hell. My G9x finally died yesterday, leaving me without a mouse. I receive my Logitech G502 X on wednesday so I had to take a bus to some place at the edge of town to buy a cheap $15 mouse to use until then. So annoying. I used my phone as a touch-pad mouse for my computer but that's not a very pleasant experience.
Oh well, I'll get my mouse and the SteelSeries QcK Hard mouse mat on wednesday and everything will (hopefully) be hunky dory. Until then I'm stuck with a shitty "weightless" mouse that sucks (but works).

a gay mouse is even better than G502 X I get zero glows, nothing, not even the logo glows, and scrolling this stupid wheel hurts my middle finger, disappointed. Mouse is light at least but maybe too light.

I used to love Logitech mice (pretty much used them exclusively since 2003 or so) Then, at some point (I think it was when the original G502 was first released or a short time later) they moved away from the Japanese manufactured Omeron switches to some cheap Chinese shit to save 0.20 cents per unit.

Ah, that explains my cheap construction (but expensive) mouse.

WTH is that, dust will get in
A bit to light for me, G502 X has 86g and is floating like air. Maybe 95g is better.

I had a keyboard by them. Was good, solid, metal and seemed bulletproof.
Until about 2 years later, the space bar started clacking and tilting when pressed, and the enter key started sticking where it would need to be 'flicked' to come back up.
It had swappable cherry switches, so was easy to fix. But the fact I had to was the issue.
SEEMS they make OK stuff for the price, and maybe I got a bad one.

I don't use their software anyway but reason why I switched over to those cheap mouses since every Logitech mouse I ever owned eventually started to double click within few months and thats not covered by warranty..
I'm really over buying any new mouses or keyboards in 50-150$ range anymore...

Still got a Logitech G402 Hero. It's the oldest bit of tech in my home currently.

Logitech G502 Hero also here. Good sturdy mouse but I regretted when I bought it. The scrolling wheel is horrendous. Clunky metal wheel with two options, hyper-fast speed which means if you spin the wheel, it will accelerate to around 300km/h without stopping ( unless you poke it with your finger ) and the other option is what I call annoying-low-res-clunky scrolling. Next time I'm going back to a Razer mouse.
