I watched origins and thought it was mostly terrible in terms of direction, acting, characters, sets and costumes and special effects (holy shit I think I can do better stuff in after effects)
The only character I liked was the professor.
Love stargate but this was no good.
That she opens the stargate is not a problem (see spoiler, no big deal). I even saw an imdb review complaining about this. Was that you? lol

It was pretty terrible but yeah it was still canon because of the ending.
Hard to finish it even with the epi's just being 10 minutes long, if they ever bring SG back... I hope it's not like this. Retarded 4 year old humour and writing.
The new "Stargate" TV series has been axed at Amazon.
The show was first announced with a series order in November 2025 and hailed from showrunner Martin Gero, who was a writer on "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis." Sources say Amazon execs were concerned that Gero's take on the series would not have broad appeal beyond the franchise's already dedicated fanbase.
I was genuinely excited when I heard the news about Stargate renewal, and now I am as genuinely disappointed.
I blame Elon.
He sabotaged Bezos's Blue Origin, blowing it at the lauch pad, and in a fit of anger one-eyed-willy cancelled the one show he should have never doubted. Instead, he should have sacked The Rim Jobs of Power.
If they move forward with a full reboot now, it will never be accepted and is doomed to fail.
It will be taken apart by every Youtuber and ridiculed no matter if it's good or not. It will always be what killed the proper, already pre-produced concept.
Either they axe it completely or change their minds and uncancel this one, or someone else could pick it up.
The gate world guy in the vid says, it was axed cause amazon executives supporting the project were replaced by the new ones who didn't give a shit about this show and decided it's not worth the risk in today's uncertain times.
