Cyberpunk'd...

Looks like it's pretty hard to code the AI to switch lanes / go around an obstacle.

Nevertheless, this is a fun little game. 👍

this game is total shit. we have played it now in 2 sessions in 2 player mode.

There's some very light open world traversal: find the icon, go there by use of grappling hook in around 10 seconds.

then you enter a "room" type of level.

find the lego pieces (for some reason its never explained if you found a piece or not?!?!?) very, very unfun, you just go around breaking stuff and sometimes you get stuck because you missed some breakable thing somewhere. I can't think of something more boring to do in a game tbh.

then build the lego thing (press the button). You constantly have to go the build site to see if you actually have 3/3 pieces or not. totally idiotic.

i was half asleep today when we played it (had 2.5h of sleep...), sometimes i was actually sleeping for 5-10 seconds, and that's fine, just can't die, there's nothing at stake, ever.

This is a 1 out of 5 game imo. apart from good presentation and decent graphics it has nothing of interest. The fighting absolutely blows too, you can do that asleep/closed eyes as well. not that i thought the Rocksteady fighting was much good either, but i guess i am not too big on fighting games.

On PS5 this is NOT 60 FPS either in 2p mode.. its kind of choppy, lol.. the graphics are not THAT great.

How anyone can like this is beyond me. Everything about this game is so superficial and bad.
It has great presentation and a good start which actually draws you in, apart from that its garbage.

It's not a bad game, man.

It's simple, cute and has cool references to the whole Batman universe / theme.

simple is the understatement of the year. i have played some of the previous lego games, and i would not say i am a total fan of them, but they are what they are, in 2 player with someone who isnt great at games they could be decent fun.

we tried this in 2-player, it was not fun. all ""quests"" were the same, shit mechanic of finding all pieces but also no tracking of it which made it super boring and tedious.

The game could just as well be automated and you just watch a character go around and bash things, that would not take away much from the experience. its not like it matters if you die or take damage, it has almost zero effect.

I think I know what you mean.

I never played fully a LEGO game because the controls, so far -- this game is the first to make an exception -- were utterly shite on PC with M/Kb...

Tried LEGO Star Wars the Skywalker stuff, but had to give up due to abysmal controls.

BUT(!) I do know that they crafted some very (very) cool systems there - upgrades, unlocks, skills, tons of stuff! And yea... this game doesn't have those.
