I assume it will simply be more and more buggy as the game goes on. sin317 wrote:

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me if this was another case of Angina 5.x struggling to handle the persistent dynamic AI routines of the open world running in the background since it wasn't really designed for it, similarly to STALKER 2 and its neutered (not)A-Life. Even the Oblivion Remustard had to rely on the ancient obsolete Bryo backbone to "function", otherwise it would have been considerably messier than it already is. Linear games and soulslikes are of course easier to handle with their rudimentary static AI and simple aggro on/off state, though the standard angina-related issues are always there.
We'll see, patient bear is trained for everything and the [Early Access] tag is already ready to be deployed

THQ Nordic usually doesn't do Denuvo, or in fact any 3rd party DRM.

which Steam rating do you think it will have by tomorrow? I want to believe very positive but i'm gonna go with Mixed. "Positive" i think is such a rare score, for whatever reason.

Depends on how much nostalgia people have for the game, i would assume it lands around 60-65% due to bugs and jank. Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32GB Kingston Fury Beast @6000MHz, GIGABYTe RTX 4070Ti Eagle OC

So what's the verdict? Too much jank or tolerable jank?

Quote: Game runs like absolute dog crap
intro cutscene was glitchy as hell
vsync exists but cannot turn it on as fullscreen is not an option.
fps is poor even on medium settings game feels....off/odd
we are not your test dummies these studios keep putting out games without proper testing fix the performance so the gameplay can be reviewed properly.

After the demo, I didn't have to think twice about buying this. Both Gothic 1&2 are some of my favorite games from my childhood.

Runs fine in 4K on a 9070XT and 9800X3D in Very High. I did have to turn FSR On because I was getting Cinematic 30fps, but it's 4K.
It uses FSR 3.1.4 natively, but it works with 4.1 driver upscale.
Heven't encountered any bugs as of yet.
Into was choppy for some reason, that I admit. sin317 wrote:
