these first 2 ep are really good and would have been a really good season 2 finale, such a shame david zaslav cut budget merger shenanigans got in the way
I don't really understand what happened...they were looking for Lord Corlys after the battle on the sea...he was thought to be drowned...his son was in perfect condition.
They saw the dragon fly around searching... we got a closeup on him floating in the sea and all of a sudden they cut to where he was up and in good condition talking to them while his son (who seem to be in good condition walking around searching in the scene just before) is coughing and looks like he was in a battle. Was that some kind of weird cut in the series or did I miss something?

I don’t mind ‘boring’ episodes.
With a lack of action and special effects, we get great dialogue and plenty of opportunity for the actors to show what they can do
that opening scene i ment, of this ep6, not season, was the budget for a whole season ... AND THATS WHAT THEY DO WITH IT ... WHAT A LOAD OF HORSESHIT ... had i been the actor i would have walked off set and told em to cgi that shit and fuck off

I would imagine the last one or two episodes of this season will be CGI heavy and cost a good chunk of the budget. Of course that might not be the case and they really did spend all of it at the start. I guess we’ll find out in a couple of weeks time
i dont know know what u guys saw good in this ep .. al i saw was more the housewives of the dragons bullshit and 4 dragons having a shitty drawn out gotta make the cgi money count for every second we can squeeze cause the budget ran out bitchfight ....

Battle of the Gullet sucked, fall of King's Landing sucked, Butcher's Ball reduced to 5 mins, sack of Tumbleton skipped entirely. At this point I'm only watching for Aegon. His speech was leaked ages ago so it wasn't much of a surprise, and yet it was still the best part of this shitty season.
