To be honest, that island heist almost completely deleted all other means of making money in the game. Haven't played GTA:O in about 4 years now but back then used to just solo farm it for 50 minutes per run (including the setup) and make 600k-800k. Only the Casino heist was better but needed at least 1 more person.
Don't know if the last few years updates added something better. The exotic cars export was nice, but hated to go in public lobbies who are 9 in 10 times full of modders and/or griefers.
@headshot @madmax & anyone who really feels the urge to post pointless AI-generated videos for some reason (just don't), please use your dedicated threads in the Jokes section: https://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=14
Merging threads is not possible on the Humps, so any future AI slop posted outside of that corner will be deleted
I wonder if the RAM prices won't increase again when GTA6 comes out and even more people use AI for videos.
Also, with how fast the AI has progressed in the last 3 years, from shitty Will Smith eating spaghetti to it making pretty realistic videos from a few concept arts, will we have fully playable AI games like this in, lets say 10 years ?

playable "games" (awful ones) made like that video has been a thing for at least 1 year, but yes not worth playing at all.
In 10 years, we can not even imagine what will be possible then, it will be a completely different time for entertainment, nothing like it is today, biggest change we have ever seen for entertainment is happening right now, slowly but steadily.
An announcement, about an announcement, about a trailer, for the trailer of a game to be announced as officially launched on release day.
What happened to the days of a few "Here is a few trailers of actual ingame gameplay footage of the game". Then later release the game, and people buy it?
To be fair to them, then seems this is suppose to be one of those. Finally.
But so many pre-pre-pre announcement pre rendered CGI trailers, and trailers of just the loading screen images with music by rockstar.
At this point they could release a still screenshot zoomed in on main characters left foot as it pans across the video with music, and people would watch it and talk about it.
Don't think I can be assed to watch it. Already burned out on official GTA 1-2 minute trailers of nothing. I'm pretty much burned out and numb to any new fluff marketing. Just let me know when its out rockstar, ok?

its because rdr1 had a similar thing and probably this will be like that, a cinematic trailer with some kind of story and not some showcase with devs talking, this is just the way rockstar does the marketing for their games so why is everyone still surprised
