Preordering would happen. Its just on Playstation and i am playing the newest GTA the moment i can. I'm sad it seems 30 fps is the only way to do it, but i'll take what i can get. But Reddit is a echochamber of idiocy. No matter where you go, common sense dies and what "sounds good" is what sells in that place.
Semi-unrelated. I just hooked up my 4K TV to my PC. The TV only runs 4K at 60 FPS. That shit is visible! Running this game at 30 fps is a fucking slideshow, I imagine. This can't be well received when it launches. For a shooter no less.
so i cant have ten girlffriends on my phone anymore and fuck hookers ?? ? cause of this relationship balony main character duo
and then you do all this effort to have a DUO AND I BET U CANT COOP THIS MOTHERFUCKER ....
I'm not sure we know if we can do stuff like that or not. I do know Rockstar said they don't want to annoy people who don't care about the romance
But you can be sure people will scream towards rockstar "OMG This character can cheat on the other character. This is unacceptable REEEEE" or something along those lines
Nah. My TV is ancient 2020 I think. Specs says 4K60. Gamemode IS on. Before gamemode was on that was even more unplayable. 60 FPS is just not fluid in gaming.
We got use to more than 60 is all.
60 is 60. Just like we used to think crappy graphics was 'looks real life', and now seems shit.
60 FPS felt smooth, because it was smoothest we seen at the time. I'd say it's more akin to have how people feel 90MPH feels fast. But then you get use to going 160+ racing, and 90 feels like a snail.
Best example (in my case anyway) my friend william has a 60hz monitor still. And watching him play it feels like running modern games on a 1060. TO him it's fine, to me it's annoyingly obvious.
(Edit): also slightly related, it's nowhere near as obvious on CRT monitors. So that helped back in that part of time when they was around.

Played every GTA since 2 or maybe even 1, cannot remember anymore. But what I do remember is that I have no finished a single one. It's just gets boring, repetitive, story is never wow, too arcadey etc...
What is this insane hype, even after watching these trailers, I will never understand...
One major factor is age also. I remember back when i was a teenager, then games actually made butterflie fly in my stomach. You were actually waiting and playing some titles with pleasure. Call it a drug substitute
In my 20's and not to mention into 30's this effect is basically 0. I guess it is what you call it, how low testosterone feels like for older men? But i still want to play GTA6, and occasionally play some other games, but they are completely pastime not an exciting thing to do. /forgot to add that i tend to watch LP-s on some story-driven games (because too lazy to play it myself), still not sure how copyright laws still haven't killed it. I would never buy a game after watching a full LP

I say the same about shooter games, and sports games.
Like I do not (personally) see the appeal over overwatch, call of duty, BF, or Fortnite. They are the dictionary definition of what you said, to me. (well some don't have story, but seems super repetitive, arcady, boring, and tiresomeone after like 3 matches)
So its simply user preference, and not really a confusion of why other people don't see it the same as you
