I wont' say no to another witcher story, but another "goodbye protagonist" story is the last thing i need.

It's for big fans who already finished it few times and need more, I guess. But old safe games will work and can jump right into the expansion.

I can and will play it. Only played 3 once, and had like a half a year to a year break due to open world fatigue

It's supposed to release after Witcher 4, because it will reuse technology developed for that game.

Yeah then they likely dont want that technology to be playable in a old game first. Though it would be cool if they gave poeple a incentive to play through the whole series again before 4

If so the expansion will probably be alright.
