Game is amazing. I can't stop playing. Yes, it has it's flaw, but as the very first game of a studio... it's great. Could be more NPCs, could more dialogs, voices could be better, but damn it... I can feel Witcher's vibes and I like it.
My only grip is performance.
Luckly I've found that there is this reshade addon and now my RTX4080 I can run x3 framegen and now I have stable 160fps without dips.
I hope they improve it soon.

Quote:
No Level Scaling

NPC and bosses levels will stay within area level range even when outscaled by player.

Simple mod that prevents enemy level catching up player's level when outscaled. Affects generic NPCs and bosses. Not an ultimate "no scaling", but enemies will always stay in area level range.

That means entering a new region is harder, but once outleveled the region, enemies are way less spongy.

So you start one shotting enemies at some point then i guess. If its made to scale, they havent put level ranges in areas and such into consideration

this. Absolutely amazing game, wow, despite the shortcomings which are really fixable and not a big deal anyway.

Maybe I haven’t unlocked enough skills but the apparent lack of stealth, specifically as a vampire, is somewhat disappointing.

Actually think the combat system is fine, just needs tightening up. I like it much more than Witcher 3. I like the directionality of blocking and attacking personally. It does get goofy as hell when there are a bunch of enemies.

Graphics are atrocious but mostly because i haven't figured out how to reduce the sharpening filter. Getting 65-75 fps on a 3080/5800x with DLSS set to Balanced.

Saw a Reshade for that.

I found this, and just added the ini file with 0.5 sharpening instead of the default 4x. It looks so much better.

I read somewhere that default is 2x. I don't know, but one this is sure, I had to reduce it.
I have set it to: 0.25
r.Tonemapper.Sharpen=0.25

I read it was 4. 4x, 2x either way, someone is fucking blind at that dev studio thinking that is acceptable to release

Funnily enough, it reminds me of The Witcher 2. That had an insane sharpness filter on by default. Considering the devs, makes me wonder if there is an ex-CDPR dev who really likes sharpness.
