I don't agree with him on all his reviews (even more so lately), and I absolutely agree that from a purely "reviewing" perspective he tends to over fixate on certain attributes - but I still respect the hell out of him for calling developers out for pure bullshit laziness and shitty design choices.
When's the last time any of the major Youtube "reviewers" actively called out multimillion dollar devs. for not being able to remap mouse and keyboard controls (or hardbound controls)? Or brought attention to the ludicrous mechanics in most third person action games where you roll around on the ground like a fucking idiot to "evade" every five seconds? Answer - never, because they're all too busy faggin' it up on fucking controllers to notice.
The dude's anger tends to cloud his overall judgement, but I can't really fault him for it. He, like most of us here I'd imagine, has lived through the glory days and seen his once beloved hobby devolve to shit. He's right to be angry, and I'd rather him be around to throw a tantrum every once in a while than him not put out videos and everyone just pretends everything is OK - when it's all clearly fucked.
I don't wish him gone. Just I feel as much as he is useful (for what it's worth) for what you mentioned. He is degrading the platform of reviewing games for the other reasons.
His tendency to frame things as "it's not good" when its really "I don't like it" stomps all over and leave ambiguity in the intent of the good aspects and makes them moot to me. Like just a hypothetical to get my point across:
Is his critique of a dodge roll mechanic as "complete and utter shite" because they did it actually poorly, or just because he cannot personally stand it? Who knows. hard to tell. Maybe this game did it Ok for what it is, and he just loathes it so much any attempt at it labelled 'utter useless shite'.
It would be akin to me reviewing warframe and going "it's a shite game, its robot parkour. Do you like pretending you are in the Robot gymnastic Olympics? Then you might like this game, otherwise..pass" because I dislike the game movement mechanics. When it's done very well and the game is good. Just not my thing.
In the end he's no better or worse than other youtubers that play games for a living. He tells an audience aimed at, what they want to hear aimed at them. Just notice he is the one that works in the most absolutes.
But I'm not a great judge of who should stay or not in the end, As I don't watch game reviews.
Only thing I use them for is to skim the video for gameplay footage (as it's usually the best place to see a lot of it not canned from the dev trailers). If I cannot tell if I would like a game or not purely off gameplay and mechanics. Then someone telling me about what they think of it won't help.

While what he says is a bit overstated, and shallowly backed up with a weirdly stated claim of: How most all Conspiracy Theories seem to be coming true, other than clear examples of where they don't. But this one will, because as I said most come true, if you ignore and exclude the ones that don't....?
What Worth A Buys' video does prove: Hyperbole chicken little clickbait videos targeting the fears of his viewers with doomcryer thumbnail text, generates income.

What a joke this guy is. Now he is praising a generic boomer shooter. It looks awfull, wab guy is in awe. Everything is fantastic. While he is playing a game with 20 year old graphics shooting enemies that all seem to stand still. He is paid for this review 100%
Kinda lost a lot of respect for him with his recent attempt to play The Blood of Dawnwalker. He got all butthurt and offended about how the game "perverted" the concept of the holy communion bullshit in Christianity....in a vampire game....in Transylvania....in the 1400's.
While his other criticisms were fair (constantly having to battle the lock-on camera, for example) , it was a bit of a moment, and I'm finding it really difficult to take him seriously going forward. There's hypocrisy, and then there's whatever the fuck that was.
Part of his mind is stuck in that '90s - 00's era. He also is a peasant. He also has other faults...
But there's nothing really wrong here.
There ARE people that love this (pseudo)archaic style of game. Nothing wrong about a niche that loves this.
Sprawl -- the first game -- was very well received in 2023.
It’s just that he is so predictable. Every game with a budget sucks. Random Indy games are awesome. And the game is either awfull or perfect. And the randomness of the games he does like makes me feel he is getting paid for those. Or even a free key can be enough like in this one. His “reviews” make no sense at all.

Either retarded or ragebaiting at this point.
If he played the early access before and his go to move is to change keybinds how high are the odds that he did do that before orwould have dropped the game because he wasnt able to.
Getting old and senile or ragebait as i said.
