Watched it last night. It wasn't anything to rave about but it was certainly better than a 2/10 movie by some distance.
I'd say about a 5 or 6 score would be a fair verdict on it.

It's not at all a JP clone. Then you can say that about any movie with dinos. Peter Jackson's king kong had more JP references than this.
I really digged the feathered and furred versions. And I like this type of adventure, set in a closed environment, like a town or a street, instead of the global disaster kinds.
The numbers don't decide, the system is a lie. The river running dry, the wings of butterflies.
And you may pour us away like soup. Like we're pretty broken flowers.
We'll take back what is ours. One day at a time.

The End of Oak Street 6/10. I actually liked this Jurassic park wannabe.
But what was the point of the disastrous ethical implications at the end of the movie with its dubious "happy end"?
Having lost entire family in the Jurassic, the last surviving member of the family Denise or one of her children at the cost of their lives should have undone this entire event thru some timey-wimey macguffin while simultaneously providing their past selves with some crucial information that would save their family from falling apart and ,perhaps, prevent similar events from happening.
But the script writers were too lazy to designate movie time for developing such plot device, and/or too stupid to realize moral consequences of the ending they have chosen.

Yeah, the macguffin sucked, I even would have preffered aliens. I didn't get the end at first. I thought she went back every time and got someone else out each time, but apparently she had plenty of time to call half the street.
