Bugs, performance issues and melee combat aside, the game is pretty great.
It plays like a Lovecraftian Resident Evil with skills. Some skills (lockpicking) seem better than others, but EA is a good opportunity to balance things out.
Hopefully this one won't bear the curse of the previous Stygian game.
The game certainly looks atmospheric and rather promising on paper, may the Early Access road be smooth. It makes me want to re-install Dark Corners of the Earth

My thoughts exactly, let's hope this one meets a better fate.
I'm a bit disappointed. I play on the hardest difficulty and there's no challenge. There are plenty of resources and the enemies don't pose much of a threat.
The performance didn't improve much either and the various clunky aspects of the gameplay are still there.
