Hypervisor bypass is out, wonder if its bypass for the new updated denuvo which tried to patch the hypervisor workaround.

I did 0 sidequests and played with 2x speed for walking and running. Dungeons are pretty simple, there is 1-2 rooms before each boss or scene so everything is relatively short.

That was my reaction after I completed the game. I should have not bought this game at all.

Started playing it but its a typical old fashioned japanese menu sweat simulator. Just running with it doesn't really work and you have to fucking equip, unequip, equip, unequp, add ability, remove ability etcetc. It's a fucking chore. The story is passable. I do enjoy the characters somewhat, but it's all very paper thin.

Finished the game
I liked the gameplay.

Game has turn based combat.
The new vision system that keeps things interesting.
You have a baseline of skills on every character but you have to equip so called visions that give you additional skills aswell.
If you keep them equipped you level them and gain additional passive skills that you can later equip even if you dont equip the vision itself.
So basically your character's skills/spells change and dont stay the same all the time.
If you consider elemental weaknesses/resistances and the number of playable characters, visions, stagger mechanics plus enemy mechanics it stays fun and interesting.

You can ofc do build that break the game but still don't since some bosses were developed with that in mind imo. Half the fun is breaking the game in older era jrpgs and crpgs.
If you dont think so i doubt you were there back when FF7 was new. Very Happy

My biggest issue with the game are the dialogues and story.
There are FF games out there that have a better story and dialogues.
This could be much more mature imo, but since it's base don a mobile game they went with that.

All in all a solid game 8/10.

I'm leaning more towards 6/10 personally. Story is weak as hell. Don't really care about the cast. The game never gives me reason to. You go from crisis to crisis and the game never actually breathes. And the dialogues are simple, so simple it's borderline childish.

The visions i.. Kinda like, but at the same time don't. Many are too similar so it's just a bloat fest of boring grinding to get passives and hoping the next boss has weaknesses you have visions for. You never really know.

The levels though are ok.
