Finally after enduring more melodramatic telenovela of Dessen's family, which extended now to grandparents, we are at last on the 3 remaining episodes home run with exciting stuff to be explored: second box and adventurous probably psychotic multiversal entrepreneur, solving polite-sex-world pandemic.
Fingers crossed Charlie would be replaced with his evil twin Max, who'd be less boring character.

This penultimate one was more engaging, but such a dick move by a Jason at the end. They could have been more gentle to the spook. I'm starting to feel sympathy toward versions of this character, he's been wronged big time twice already.

The Lost Room is very good too, by the way

I agree, and the miniseries needed sequel. In fact, "Lost Room" was much better executed show than this one, but why bring it up here?
"cause of doors being portals to remote locations of one's choosing?

Counterpart is great, but I believe it ends on a cliffhanger and got canceled.

overall another meh season with some good ideas but should have ended with 1, wat was even the point with the detective plot lol, such underdeveloped slop, the characters are not that well developed to care for them and the family drama is too soapy and repetitive. the first season was simple and interesting at least but now it turns into ur usual sci fi mess where everyone can world travel like its nothing and more boxes that will fix everything eventually, so bad
also finished counterpart and that one is miles better, like proper developed, dosent really end on a cliffhanger though so its worth a watch regardless

Counterpart is an all time great - even though it has no ending.
Counterpart beats Dark Matter by a mile and then some. Not saying this to diss on Dark Matter, but Counterpart was excellent.

How can you even compare Counterpart to this shit...
Shame people dismiss Counterpart because it was cancelled but it was one of the best shows in recent years. Cast and plot was top notch how everything played out.

I loved Counterpart too, for the record.
@StEFaN7
I agree with your assessment of the Dark Matter, I'm really not looking forward for the third season. I think, they lost this particular viewer.
If anyone is looking for similar meh-quality parallel universe TV series, you should try Charlie Jade. ( 2004 )

Counterparts got cancelled but the producers got enough time to hotpotch kind of ending, it just doesn't feel like proper one.
