ok..finaly i have solution for this too lol...i figured out that my 6600gt is getting over heat
..looks like the card worked too hard lol...the fan is dieing so... i will just have to get new system cooling (for the gpu) and i am done:)

Why are all of the enemies psychic? Whenever I try to sneak around and flank a group of enemies whether they are entrenched or just patrolling, they all seem to know exactly where I am and all turn to aim at me at the same time and I haven't even fired a shot yet. Even if I put some of my stupid AI teammates to draw their fire one direction and I try to flank them, they always know where I am as soon as I peak around a corner. What kind of bullshit is that?

I agree, i love this game, gameplay, visual and audio wise but when it comes to artificial intelligence (AI) they are to good, it's verry anoying in some missions trying to complete objectives because its almost impossible to sneak, i agree with z00mer the AI know where u are almost all the time even with ur team distracting.

The ai need to be watered down to make the game better i think, i'm at the mission called mayday now and its so hard cause im by myself, i blew up 2 obj's and trying to reach the 3rd one is so damn retarded with these super hax AI, spotting me in the nightime from miles away lol, need sp cheats just to calm the anger and bypass some missions i think.

O man im on the same mission as you are, first i blew up all the bunkers but my teammates died and i tried to reach the top by myself, it was impossible. The enemy started shooting even before they saw me, and kept shooting the building untill i poped out, and then it was instant death. Sometimes they shoot from the hills when you cant even see them because trees are obstructing the view, so annoying. SO i gave up and redid the mission with my teammates alive. Teammates are only good for spotting the enemy because then you get that red diamon on your screen, but they suck at covering you because mostly enemy AI goes right for you and doesnt bother with shooting your teammates. The rest of the game is fine.
Anyone else is experiencing a problem with how dark this game is. I turned up my brightness up but still, there are so many dark spots, when you look at it its dark, but when you get close it like lights up and looks normal. LIke i could be standing 2 meteres away from a place and its dark, where i cant see anything, but i get 1m closer and its fine, all bright and shit?

Yeah but bf was designed specificly for multiplayer, so they included bots as a bonus. This game is more SP oriented, so you'd think their bots would be better. BF's bots are disigned to introduce a player to the game, and get him acquainted with the game so he wont look like a noob playing online. This game is like FEAR SP over MP.

Oh lol hard to catch that. But in BF bots on hard are,indeed, ultrauber hard. They will probably patch it later on, the game is not even officially out, it might not be the finall release, so we'll see how it turns out. So far thats my only beef with the game, and the dark spots. Oh yeah also the lack of weapons, i thought previous game had more. I guess in this game they concentrated on US army and its weaponary.

With GR 1 there was a flood of mods, lets see if the GR modding community is still going strong. I remember the German Bundeswehr Mod and the Swedish "Kustjägar" Mod, there was also a NAVY SEALS and a Delta Mod I think and not to forget the The 22nd SAS modification. I think give it some time and we will see this stuff coming out. There was also 3 addons for the orig GR, new maps, theater of conflict and weapons etc.
One of the best GR modding sites is www.ghostrecon.net
As I read some stuff over at diff GR Forums, it becomes clear that one of the big minuses for GRAW is there is only 5 maps
Shanty Town
Downtown
Warehouses
Avenues
Churches
Now that is not a good thing. If I remember correctly there where almost 20 if not 20 maps in the orig GR, so there will for sure be some maps and level modding coming out pretty soon.

What do you mean by 5 maps? Do you mean there are only 5 missions to complete (because im on mission 4 and so far every map looked different). Or do you mean there are five 5 big maps and you just go back and forth doing different missions? The town looks pretty big, when you are flying over it, it looks like you can actually visit those places, the draw distance is amazing and not laggy at all.
I think they tried to make it hard so it would take longer to complete and thus masking the short SP (things like no saving, only checkpoints, hard AI). Hopefully GRIN made it mod friendly.

Ok, a few things Ive noticed....

First off the lack of ingame save unacceptable. Id say its a design flaw. Sometimes you have to go back a play through almost 30min of planning.


Second, USE THE TACTICAL MAP! Do not! I repeat do NOT order your squad mates around with the silly action interface. Command them around in the tact map. Ive had AMAZING results doing this. Make sure to use the cover commands. The squad AI has actually impressed me with some thier postioning. I know its not the most intuitive system but the difference is night and day when you are postioning your men. Those who have given up on this game becuase of stupid teamates should give it another try while using the tactical map exclusively.

One more thing. Is anyone else seeing that sometimes headshots arent registering? I dont think anyone is going to just "shake off" a 5mm bullet in the neck....

Also I unistalled the Ageia drivers the game and demo came bundled with and I have noticed that the game is running much more stable. I havent had the game reboot itself since unistalling the drivers. Someone should comfim this though. Not sure if it was luck or not. Either way this game needs patching FAST.

Nice find man! I'll have to try some of settings out. Pitty about the Night Vision being messed up when the effects are off. Sad

Yeah the hitboxes are fucked up. Those guys that camp towers and only their head is visible are always standing up after i shot them, i mean only their head is visible that means thats what i hit, and they dont die.
I agree on tactical map, its much better than middle mouse orders, it seems they dont even follow them, and if they do they just run wherever they want to.

That's dynamic lighting. When you're in the light, you can't see inside dark buildings very well. When you are inside a building, your eyes adjust to the darkness, and you can see again.

Yea exactly. Maybe you guys that have this problem just have GC's that simply dont cope...again.

Well if im seeing it means its working, i just dont like it. Mission 4 is at night but still those dark spots are the same as during the day, i dont know about you but thats not how i see things in RL. I know my eyes do adjust but its not as dramatic, especially at night, once they adjust its pretty much the same every where, unless i walk into the sun. ANyways ill turn it off, after looking at for a while my eyes started to hurt.

i tried to play this on lan via hamachi but didnt work (no games showed up), after having played warcraft 3 hamachi the same night so it was working, dunno if others had the same problem

this game is running f*cking slow.

I'm unable to purcahse a new cpu right now.

I have 2 PCs:

one with an AMD Sempron 3000+ @ 2000 Mhz 1500 Mb DDR and a GForce 6600GT

and another AMD Athlon XP 2200+ @ 1800 Mhz with a shitty card and Ram.

I've heard tha Athlon's can be better than Semprons even if their working at a smaller frequency.

should I change the Athlon XP with the Sempron, will that help this game going a little faster or it's just a waste of time?

Athlon 4000+, good value for money, about the same as a P4 3.8-4.0 GHz. Comes at around 300-350$, I know U said no $, but it's worth it...belive me.

Ok dubble posting here but...any of you guys find level 3 to be to hard?. I know the game should be hard, but this is just MAD!. I only managed to finish this level once, ONCE! and I tried it I don't know how many times. Is there a way to finish this level with all the ghost's surviving?

I know, when I can, the first thing I'll buy is a Dual Core AMD 4800+ or superior, but for now I'm completly broke.

and my only question is really if the Athlon 2200+ will be better than the Sempron 3000+

can anyone post some benchmark tests of this two CPU's?

Lol, man Im in the same boat. This game can be brutal! I had avoid 2 freaking tanks without any anti armor weapons. Also those mexican snipers can be a bitch!

This would be so bad if GRIN had just gave us a quick save option. Its a freaking crime with these HORRIBLE checkpoints. Evil or Very Mad
