I just bought the game the day before yesterday and...
...it's great. Meanwhile I played the first two missions. But I think it's a lot harder and trickier than the demo was.

Now I am just stuck in the level that plays after the one you can play in the demo.

But I don't wanna spoil anything in here.

I also played Desperados 1 and that was also great in my opinion.

And if you don't like the first person view/ascpects just play it as you played the first game, because you can also use i.e. the sniper mode of Doc McCoy as efficiently in tactics mode as you can do in First Person mode. I think there's no real difference in the gameplay anyway (regarding the success chances).

So if you really wanna play the game and liked it's predecessor it's a good grab. BTW the game is multilanguage by Installation (Deutsch, English, Espagnol, Italiano) and the language cannot be changed after installation.

...and 2nd BTW: the Desperados 2 release with size 2.35 GB mentioned above really might be fake because the size of my original is 4.35 GB (so one full DVD5) EXCEPT the US/UK version is an English-Only version with no further language options available.

I remember that demo. How fucking hard was that? Laughing

First Desperados was pretty awesome, but I couldn't get into the second (3D) one. Somewhat the same as with Commandos. The first, isometric one was absolutely brilliant, but it lost its charm when they went full 3D.

Got it on GOG. And indeed it runs 'well' on my system, at 25 FPS. Smile

No idea if that can be unlocked / changed.

The same team didn't make part 2 I think, it was indeed horrible. All the things that were great about the first game were thrown out it seemed. Commando 3D was terrible too, it was that time when everything had to be moved to 3D, ah well, at least we can still play the original Smile
